Designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 17146 "Test method for water vapor transmission performance of building materials and their products", it adopts two test principles, dry method and wet method, and is suitable for building materials with water vapor equivalent air layer thickness between 0.1-1500m. It can also be used for the water vapor transmission rate of materials such as plastic film, aluminum foil, adhesive, sealant, coating, waterproof coating, varnish, etc.
Test principle: at a certain temperature, a specific humidity difference is formed on both sides of the sample, and water vapor passes through the sample in the moisture permeable cup into the dry side. By measuring the change in the weight of the moisture permeable cup over time, the water vapor transmission rate and other parameters of the sample are obtained.
